Dear Friend of the DAA,

As we begin our 102nd year, we are excited to be finalizing plans for the Duxbury Art Association’s annual Winter Juried Show — our biggest event of the year! — on display from February 3 through April 13, 2019, at the Art Complex Museum in Duxbury.

For the second year we have broadened our reach to artists by accepting online submissions. This process has significantly increased interest beyond our local area, giving us the opportunity to present a broader range of art to our community and to support a wider group of artists. As of this writing, we have over 450 submissions of high quality art to be curated by our esteemed judges, from which approximately 85 finalists will be selected for the show.

We are excited to announce our WJS opening cocktail and awards reception will be held at the Art Complex Museum on Saturday February 2, 2019. We invite you to support the DAA by becoming a sponsor for this fabulous kick-off celebration. Your generous contribution will support us in our effort to produce what has become our most highly anticipated event of the year. Donations received by January 24, 2019 will be acknowledged in the show program, which will be distributed to all guests attending the show during its full 10-week run.

 6 Tickets to the opening reception cocktail party (additional tickets for your friends, clients, and colleagues may be purchased in advance at a discounted price of $25 per person; discounted tickets must be purchased directly by the underwriter).
*Underwriters carry the tradition that Winthrop Coffin began. Mr. Coffin was the generous underwriter of the first DAA exhibition in 1917.

Bittinger Level -$500 each

 4 Tickets to the opening reception cocktail party
*Charles Bittinger was the first President of the DAA. He was an established painter of his time and an important figure in DAA’s history.

*Waldo Kennard was the first Vice President of the DAA and the winner of the popular prize at the 1917 exhibition.
