Found Object Art

February 8: Monday 10:00am- 4:00pm
February 9: Tuesday 10:00am- 7:00pm
February 10: Wednesday 10:00am- 4:00pm
Opening Reception:
February 25: Thursday 6:00pm- 8:00pm
End Date: April 5: Monday
Eligibility:
The Duxbury Art Association is calling all artiststo submit two or three-dimensional artwork in any media for an upcoming exhibition entitled: Found Object Art.
To be considered for exhibition, original two-dimensional or three-demensional artwork must be submitted. Entry is open to everyone. DAA membership is not required. Work must have been completed within the last five years and not previously exhibited in a DAA Show.
Should the number of entries exceed our gallery space; artists will be notified of their status by phone or e-mail by end of day, Friday, February 12th, 2010
Accepted artwork can be picked up at the conclusion of the exhibition beginning April 5th. The DAA can return work only of return postage is supplied.
Fee & Sales:
A non-refundable entry fee of $5 per piece for current DAA members and $15 per piece for non-DAA members will be charged. Membership can be updated at the time of registration. Artwork need not be listed for sale; however, if a selling price is listed on the registration form, the Duxbury Art Association retains a 40% commission on all artwork sold in the Bengtz and Cutler Galleries.
Liability:
All due care will be exercised in handling the works submitted. The DAA will not be responsible for damaged, lost or stolen items. The Duxbury Art Association will not be responsible for work left after the pick-up date(s). Artwork left over 30 days will become the property of the Duxbury Art Association.
